Antti Vilkko is the General Manager of the Facilities and Energy Management Department within the Infrastructure, Development and Enterprise Services at the City of Guelph. He is responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of the Facilities and Energy Management department that includes the service delivery for Facility Design and Construction, Accessibility Services, Corporate Building Maintenance and the Corporate Energy and Climate Change Office.
Antti holds a Professional Engineering License in Ontario and a Master of Business Administration degree. He has an extensive engineering and construction background with over 20 years of experience working both as a consultant and as a contractor before joining the City of Guelph in 2016. Antti has been involved in a number of different energy related projects in his career serving in multiple capacities including the design and construction of wind energy projects, Landfill Gas to Energy Facilities, Digester Gas Cogeneration and construction management of district energy plants.
