February 7, 2018

By our estimates, five faith based instutitions in Guelph are producing energy locally through rooftop solar.

  • Harcourt Memorial United Church on 87 Dean Avenue has 46 solar panels on its roof. Since 2011, these panels have produced nearly 80MWh of electricity - enough to power nearly 8 average Ontario homes! Click here to learn more about their system.
  • St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church on 161 Norfolk street has 32 solar panels of its roof. Since installation in 2016, this system has produced more than 15MWh of electricity - enough to power a 2017 Nissan Leaf nearly four trips around the globe! Click here to learn more about their system
  • First Baptist Church on 255 Woolwich Street .... (coming soon)
  • Dublin Street United Church on 68 Suffolk Street ... (coming soon)
